Having lived in Durham, North Carolina, Big Dave is proud to say he's a full-fledged North Carolina BBQ convert. The defining style of the Carolinas involves chopped (or pulled) barbecue dressed with a spicy vinegar sauce. Most restaurants down there don't even offer a sauce alternative. Once you experience our Carolina (pulled) Pork BBQ, your eyes will be opened to just how well the spicy tang of vinegar sauce complements the smokey barbeque. And then you'll be just as hooked as we are!

We offer a variety of BBQ sauces to fit your different tastes. However, our Authentic Eastern North Carolina Vinegar-based BBQ Sauce will be your favorite! And, although we add a few secret ingredients to make it truly authentic to the Durham, NC area, it all begins with the time-honored tradition of vinegar, sugar, crushed red pepper, salt and black pepper."

Whether you're ordering the Carolina (Pulled) Pork BBQ, Beef Brisket BBQ, Smoked Turkey, Ham, any of our succulent Chickens or meaty Rib selections, we pick only the highest quality meats and Hickory-smoke them all ourselves. (And, depending on the meat, mix in a little Apple, Cherry and/or Mesquite to enhance certain flavors.)
"Big Dave's Family BBQ" is a celebration of the mouth-watering culinary offerings of Eastern North Carolina. Authentic (pulled) Pork Barbeque is our signature dish, but all of our meats are home-smoked and cooked right here in Goshen, NY.
We've loaded our main menu with traditional southern foods that have been refreshed for our modern diets and tastes. And with unique pairings such as ribs and clams, salmon and grits, and alike, you'll love our creative "Daily Specials", as well.
We feature NO deep-fat fryer. And offer wraps, salads and vegetarian alternatives. We even have healthy kids meals (that our 6-year-old loves!) And, of course, we will always look local first to procure the freshest of the black dirt region's bountiful produce in our starters, sides and desserts.
